The Pixel 6 is easily one of the most leaked smartphones in recent years. With the official launch just a day away, a few more Pixel 6 leaks have surfaced, revealing its possible pricing. While a leak from last month spilled the beans on the European pricing of the Pixel 6 series, the latest round of leaks reveal the pricing for various other markets, including the US, the UK, and Australia.

At a Target store, Twitter user Evan Lei spotted price labels for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. As per the labels, the regular Pixel 6 with 128GB storage will be priced at $599, while the Pixel 6 Pro 128GB model will retail for $898.

If these leaked pricing details are indeed accurate, it looks like Google is aiming for quite an aggressive price. In fact, at this price, the Pixel 6 would be cheaper than last year’s Pixel 5, which launched at $699.

Separately, Roland Quandt from WinFuture has spotted listings of the Pixel 6 Pro on Amazon UK. The listings reveal that the Pixel 6 Pro 128GB could start at £849, while the top-end 256GB model may go on sale at £949.

Finally, Australian pricing was revealed in Google’s official ad for the Pixel 6 series. As per the advertisement, Google will sell the regular Pixel 6 in the region at a starting price of AUD 999.

Renowned leaker OnLeaks has now confirmed the European pricing for the Pixel 6 duo. In a recent tweet, the leaker revealed that the 12GB+256GB Pixel 6 will retail for €649 in France, while the 12GB+128GB Pixel 6 Pro will retail for €899. In addition, OnLeaks claims that the devices will go on sale in the region starting October 28.

Latest renders give us the best look at Galaxy S22 Ultra yet

Image: Samsung

We are still three months away from the announcement of the Galaxy S22 series. However, their possible design and specifications have been leaked already. Most Samsung fans disliked the design render of the Galaxy S22 Ultra that was revealed a few weeks ago. Now, a new set of renders have been published, showcasing a new camera design.

LetsGoDigital has published new concept renders of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. According to the latest images, the upcoming flagship smartphone might not have a camera island. Instead, all individual cameras might have slight protrusion from the body. The camera design reminds us of the LG Velvet that was launched last year.

The camera design definitely looks better than the P-shaped and 11-shaped camera design that was rumored earlier. You can see its design in a 360-degree video towards the end of the article.

OnePlus Harry Potter smartwatch cashes in on millennial nostalgia

Image: Oneplus

The OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Limited Edition is a new version of the company’s disappointing debut smartwatch themed around the boy wizard. It’s currently listed for ₹16,999 (around $225), and will be available exclusively in India. That’s a small premium over the ₹14,999 (around $200) the regular version of the watch retails for in the country. NDTV notes the watch will go on general sale from October 21st.

The limited edition version of the watch naturally includes a number of Harry Potter-themed elements. It has a copper color scheme and a brown leather band adorned with Harry Potter branding, and it comes in a box themed around the magical entryway to Diagon Alley.

Software tweaks include six themed watch faces, including four based around the Hogwarts school houses, as well as special boot and charging animations. XDA Developers has gotten its hands on the watch if you’d like to read some first-hand impressions.

Despite its disappointing initial reviews, OnePlus has been updating the watch since its release, adding new features like an always-on display and remote control camera function. But based on Dan’s experience with the smartwatch, it might need a lot more than a wizarding-themed coat of paint to turn it into a must-have accessory.

Telegram surges past 1 billion Play Store downloads

Image: 9to5Google

Third-party messaging client Telegram has now joined an exclusive and limited club after surpassing the 1 billion download figure over on the Google Play Store.

Likely spurred by the recent outage to Facebook-owned services such as WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram, cross-platform messaging app Telegram has now surged over the 1 billion download mark on the Play Store (via Android Police).

That discounts the many reasons that Telegram is a worthy download for those wanting more control over their one-to-one and group conversations. The app includes a number of features that many rival services lack, including the ability to use it on multiple devices simultaneously.

That’s a big deal given that WhatsApp’s implementation is far more restrictive and only allows one smartphone to be logged in to an account at a time. It’s easy to see just why Telegram downloads have grown in recent years as regular improvements and features help it exceed over many other rivals.

Microsoft released Windows 11 Build 22000.282 to Insiders in the Release Preview and Beta Channels on October 15, 2021. That update includes a fix for an L3 caching issue that can affect the performance of Windows 11 PCs with AMD CPUs. The bug can cause performance drops of up to 5% on affected systems. An earlier report indicates that a fix for the L3 caching issue could roll out to general users on October 19, 2021.

“We fixed an L3 caching issue that might affect performance in some applications on devices that have AMD Ryzen processors after upgrading to Windows 11 (original release),” says Microsoft in the release notes of Build 22000.282.

Microsoft’s release notes only specifically mention AMD’s Ryzen processors. Some other CPUs from AMD officially support Windows 11, including a handful of Threadripper chips, but it appears that the L3 caching issue only affects Ryzen chips.

Intel CEO Hopes to Win Back Apple by Making Better Chips Than Apple

In a new episode of Axios on HBO shared by MarketWatch, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger sat down with Axios‘ Chief Technology Correspondent Ina Fried to discuss various topics, including Apple’s transition to its own custom-designed silicon chips across its Mac lineup.
When asked if Intel has given up on the idea of the Mac running on Intel processors in the future, Gelsinger said that he hopes to win back this segment of Apple’s business over time by outcompeting the company in chipmaking.

In the interview, Gelsinger acknowledged Intel’s “stumbles” and said the company will “fight hard” to win back Apple’s business by making better chips than Apple:

Fried: Recently Apple said they’re moving from Intel chips on the Mac to homegrown processors. Have you given up on the idea of the Mac running on Intel chips?

Gelsinger: I never give up on the idea of anything not running on Intel chips. And, you know, hey, you know, our stumbles, you know, Apple decided they could do a better chip themselves than we could. And, you know, they did a pretty good job. So what I have to do is create a better chip than they can do themselves. I would hope to win back this piece of their business, as well as many other pieces of business, over time. And in the meantime, I got to make sure that our products are better than theirs, that my ecosystem is more open and vibrant than theirs, and we create more compelling reason for developers and users to land on Intel-based products. So, I’m going to fight hard to win Tim’s business in this area.
